Internist - Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired diseases and injuries of internal organ systems; examine patients for symptoms and extent of injury or disorder; prescribe medications; recommend dietary and activity programs; refer patients to appropriate medical specialists when indicated.
Requirements: MD or foreign equivalent in medicine, +3 years training in American Board of Internal Medicine approved medical residency; must be board certified in Internal Medicine; must have license to practice medicine in West Virginia and must have permanent authorization for employment in the United States.
